Bourbon Barrel Inn Bed & Breakfast Policies

Our historic property offers a unique and welcoming lodging experience, perfect for business trips, vacations, or weekend getaways in Louisville, KY. • Cancellations must be made via email at stay@bourbonbarrelbnb.com.
• Reservations canceled more than 14 days before arrival date will receive a refund of 50% of your deposit, less a $25 cancellation fee.
• Cancellations within 14 days of arrival date are considered NON-REFUNDABLE and charged the full reservation amount unless the room is rebooked for a later date based on availability.*
• Specials and Promotional bookings (e.g., Derby weekend, local festivals, seasonal promotional periods, holidays, etc.) will be charged the full amount at time of booking and are NON-REFUNDABLE. Special terms will be disclosed at the time of booking and supersede the regular deposit and cancellation policies
• Bourbon Barrel Inn Bed & Breakfast is not responsible for cancellations due to weather, illness, travel changes, or emergencies. We recommend purchasing individual travel insurance from providers like: www.insuremytrip.com, www.travelsafe.com, www.travleinsurance.com
• No refunds are provided for late arrivals or early departures.

* The cancellation fee of $25 applies to changes in your arrival/departure date which result in a shorter stay.

Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, personal checks. Note that an additional tax of 15.5% will be applied to room rates in accordance with KY State Sales Tax, KY Transient Room tax and Louisville Metro Government Transient Room Tax requirements.

• Check-In: 2:00 PM–7:00 PM (in-person). After 7:00 PM, please make arrangements in advance.
• Check-Out: By 12:00 PM.

1. Smoking Policy

Bourbon Barrel Inn Bed & Breakfast is a non-smoking facility. Smoking indoors or leaving doors open while smoking will result in a $400 cleaning fee. All guests who violate this policy will be asked to leave immediately and any refund will be forfeited.

2. Damage Policy

Guests are responsible for any damages to the room or missing items (e.g., linens, towels, hairdryers, coffee mugs, etc.). Charges will be applied to the credit card on file.

3. Open Flame Policy

Due to fire hazards, the use of any open flame in rooms or common areas is strictly prohibited.

4. Children Policy

Our accommodations are designed for adults 21+ older. Sorry, no children allowed.

5. Pet Policy

We are happy to refer you to an Inn that accepts pets or a wonderful local kennel, as our Inn cannot accommodate pets.
